Job Title: Vice President, Operations

CULIANCE operates the largest credit union owned ATM and POS network in the country, and provides a growing range of payment related products and services to help small to mid-size credit unions compete and improve their members' lives.

CULIANCE is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations to join our team. The role will be challenging but also highly rewarding as this leader will be a key voice in the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity with great growth potential.


  • Providing network technical support and guidance, including the coordination of the implementation of CULIANCE network interfaces and upgrades to existing network interfaces, adding new clients to network interfaces, monitoring de-conversions, ensuring processor interfaces are in compliance with the CULIANCE Network Operating Rules and keeping processors informed of CULIANCE policies and network pricing schedules.
  • Developing a strategy that stands on its own, but is also complimentary to the vision the CEO has for the company. Creating accurate and aggressive long and short-range goals with a superior products team designed to operationally diversify in market segments and maximize our sales potential.
  • Regularly communicating with CULIANCE EFT processors to develop new business opportunities. Provide business analysis for new businesses and/or changes to existing network pricing/membership structure.
  • Providing technical assistance to Sr. Management, Relationship Managers and Client Services staff regarding network operational issues. Acting on behalf of the network for CULIANCE processors as the network liaison to resolve technical issues. Providing marketing agents, processors and Client Service & Support staff with training and assistance with pricing and network administration.
  • Formulating and recommending new operating policies and procedures or changes in existing policies and procedures to ensure the organization is operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensuring budgeted goals are achieved and met.
  • Developing recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, processes and services by monitoring trends in the industry.
  • Maintaining a highly qualified staff, sufficient to meet long-term organizational goals.


  • Bachelor's degree or in-depth payments industry knowledge and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
  • 10 years of similar or related experience
  • The ability to motivate or influence others, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust
  • Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of interpersonal skills are critical to the success of this position.
  • Work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or the organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Moderate travel nationally
